It started as a dream back in 2016. Sean Lyden met with one of his childhood best friends, Dave Azoni, and their mutual friend, Stephen Georgiadis, to discuss their shared desire to bring the best cannabis in the world to the legal Michigan market. Sean, President, has extensive experience as the CFO for his family company and Dave, COO, and Steve, CPO, are some of the best cultivators in the world and have vast cultivation equipment knowledge from their ownership of a chain of hydroponics stores, Cultivation Innovations. Sean’s father, Breen, joined the team and they began the search for a suitable property to establish the cultivation operation and found the small town of Morenci, MI. The team helped convince the city to allow marijuana facilities to operate in the city and Morenci has been changed for the better ever since with many thriving employers.After several bumps in the road, Green Labs, LLC was able to start growing in October of 2020. The cultivation facility is a state-of-the-art, custom-built, 20,000 square foot indoor facility. The building is cleaner than hospital grade with all employees showering once they enter the facility to ensure the plants are as clean and happy as possible. We use a fully automated underground water system that gives the plants exactly what they need and when they need it. Each of our four flower rooms has 50 tons of HVAC capacity and we have about 20 harvests per year to ensure a steady supply of new and exciting products as well as classic favorites. We currently have 42 strains in-house including some of our exclusive strains developed in house such as Cherry Empire and Hawaiian Bread. Our flower and extracts are some of the finest in the state and never remediated!We finally found the perfect spot for our first dispensary in late 2020, Luna Pier. With its quick access to I-75 and friendly people, Luna Pier should be a premier location. Teaming up with Luna Pier native, JD Davison, we built a beautiful 4,000 square foot retail space that opened in November 2021. With our incredible staff and amazing flower and extracts, we are so excited to show you what we have in store!
